A/C Heat Repair. Your car’s air conditioning (A/C) system is divided into two sides, known as the high side and the low side. The A/C compressor, beginning at the high side, functions like a pump moving refrigerant through the system. The expansion valve, which begins at the low side restricts refrigerant flow lowering the pressure and the temperature of the refrigerant. Potential problems range a stuck expansion valve, bad compressor, lack of refrigerant, loose hoses or a hole in the condenser. Bacteria in the system can cause weird smells. At Expressway Mechanic on Duty we can diagnose the problem and give you a solid price for the repair because we fix a lot of A/C systems and have a lot of experience with cooling systems.
Heat Problems? Assuming you have coolant in the system, your water pump, thermostat and radiator work in unison to supply heat which transfers to your passenger cabin through the heater core. Getting a thermostat replaced or flushing the radiator may solve the problem. If you need a new radiator, water pump or heater core you can be sure that we will do it as inexpensively as possible. Here at Expressway Mechanic on duty can diagnose and repair your heat problems usually in a couple hours or while you wait.
